The reality is that there can be many challenges you could face on your new journey. Ignoring the possibility that things may not go smoothly can lead to great disappointment if you do face difficulties.

By doing a class that prepares you for the reality of the difficulties that you could face, you will be much more prepared to manage those difficulties.

This situation has occurred as babies do not always follow our agenda. If your baby arrives before the event, you can still attend the online event with bub in arms.

The full agenda for the day is emailed to you after you enrol for the workshop.

Topics we cover include:

  • – The Struggles Of Feeding & How To Manage Them
  • – What Equipment You Do Need & What You don’t Need To Waste Money On.
  • – How To Decide On The Right Support Team When You Feel Like You Are At Breaking Point

Yes! the quickest and easiest way to help your husband/partner get on the same page as you is to attend the event together.

Not only will this make him your very first supporter, but he will also have a sense of belonging and purpose when feeding time comes around.

Absolutely! Parents who waited until after their baby was born say they wish they got this information before the baby arrived, as it would have relieved a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety on both the parents and the baby.

Wendy Pratt, formerly a neo-natal intensive care nurse is a breastfeeding and infant sleep specialist with more than 35 years experience.

Baby Assist is a compassionate and realistic approach to infant sleep & feeding for new parents in the Albury / Wodonga region

Wendy brings over 35 years of experience working with babies and their parents helping with infant feeding and sleep, including many years in Special Care Nursery working with premature babies learning to feed.

An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant for the past 10 years – requiring over 100 hours of study and over 2000 hours of breastfeeding experience to be eligible to write the exam as well as holding a  Certificate in Intensive Care of the Newborn.

Wendy constantly is engaging in ongoing study and attendance at conferences and courses to stay up to date with the current information surrounding infant feeding and sleep.

As a lactation & sleep consultant Wendy meets so many parents who are totally blindsided by either a difficult breastfeeding journey or a baby who seems to want to stay up all night!

Months are usually spent preparing and fantasizing about the birth of their precious baby, only to find themselves totally unprepared for what comes after that!

Wendy developed this free event to help expecting parents think beyond the birth and be prepared for what lies ahead. Knowing what to expect is the first step in being able to take care of yourself and your baby with confidence.

Due to the online platform we use having a certain capacity, we can only let a certain amount of people in the online event.

As there are very limited places, and we may not run this free event again this year, it is a good idea to book your free seat now!
